Courage to Face The Last Moment of Life

I was just thinking, what will be my reactions if I knew that my life is ending soon, like perhaps the next seconds or few hours, or days?

Will I manage to take it?

To depart from the people I care, and putting an end to my life and my existance. What will happen to them when I am no longer around?

Will I be terrified? or could I face it with courage? or perhaps will have the confident on where I going to next?

I think I will only have the answer when the moments is here.

One Photo A Day Project

I am starting a personal photography project titled "One Photo A Day" with Ricoh GRD III. The idea is to photograph the moments of my daily life, and at the end of the day, select one which is most meaningful for the day.

After 365 days, I will publish them in a book. Hopefully I have the discipline to keep it going and have many books years later. :)

The Way of Bodhisattva - Shantideva

All those who slight me to my face
Or do to me some other evil,
Even if they blame or slander me,
May they attain the fortune of enlightenment!

May I be a guard for those who are protectorless,
A guide for those who journey on the road.
For those who wish to cross the water,
May I be a boat, a raft, a bridge.

The Way of The Bodhisattva

My next book to read and understand is The Way of The Bodhisattva by Shantideva. Perhaps I should make a trip to Kinukuniya this weekend to look for the book. Searching for a book that provide step by step guide that I can follow & practice, to get rid of my lust, anger, and ignorance. I have to take the matter seriously and urgently, as life is short. If I did not help myself, I won't able to help others...It's time to take actions NOW!

When we think that our beloved parents and loved one since the beginning-less of time is suffering in the ocean of Samsara, how could one in their right mind still taking their sweet time?

Personally, I don't mind that much about myself though, even I have to stay in hell forever and ever (I am not that sure if that is true though).

The Once Perfect ME

The more I analyse and observe about myself, the more questions I have about the true identity of me. How silly I am, for all my lust & greeds, anger & emotions, ignorance & confusions...

I need to work on myself more frequently, to conquer and overcome the lust, anger, and ignorance.
